What is SehatCard?
SehatCard is a program that provides health care to the poor, through a micro-insurance scheme. The program is aimed at improving the access to health care for the underprivileged citizens in Pakistan.
The program’s objective is to ensure that the identified under-privileged citizens across the country get access to their entitled medical health care in a swift and dignified manner without any financial obligations.
The program will cover the cost of treatment for all medical and surgical procedures. It will also cover the cost of hospitalization and the associated charges. It will also cover the cost of prioritizations, as well as the cost of transportation to and from the hospital.
It is also aimed at improving the access to health care for the underprivileged citizens in Pakistan. It will ensure that they have access to quality health care in a timely manner, without having to pay any fees.
